internet killed the dvd star

With the amount of good footage floating around the net, its def got me thinking about how much people want to buy or watch dvds these days?. I go on the net, check all the bodyboarding sites and pretty much guaranteed i will come across a sick clip that i can watch for free within about a minute.

When i first started getting into the sport the best bodyboarding i saw was on channel 7's "waveriders" pit pilot section which went for 3mins max, i then progressed to some rush vids and then my first ever dvd premier i attended was "I love the SC" which pretty much got me intetested into shooting and making a good local video. But if im a kid these days and i decide i like bodyboarding and want to watch some good clips i go onto vimeo, type in ben player and watch countless clips of him in HD quality ripping harder than pretty much any rider ever has.

So how will crazy compete with the internet clip revolution? It wont, but it will offer a different type of veiwing pleasure, it will have soul, character and most importantly be crazy. My vx2000 has finally been layed to rest after a collision with the rocks at redsands so the editing has commenced and im hoping prems will happen late novemeber at this stage.

My proof about how many good clips there are on the net is below, i got onto movementmag.com ,saw there was some clip of a french rider i have never heard of and thought id watch it, half way through the guy pulls the best invert-air rev /invert-backflip ive ever seen. Crazy marn
